War to the bitter END?

Isreal says War to the bitter End. What does this mean for everyone involved and the entire region? What will this hold and when will this finally be over? How many years has this gone on with no end in site, people fighting over land.

Is this going to spark an all out regional war? Well it looks like its a possibility, Iran and Syria backing Hamas and Egypt appearing to back Isreal. When will America take a defining stand and where the hell is our President-elect. Doesn't this make Joe Biden look like a genius the world is already throwing Obama a fastball, lets hope he doesn't swing and miss. But lets not be silly and think he can fix this age old problem.

Great Post I read- Wanted to share

It is from my pal DROCK's blog OPERATION D-RAQI FREEDOM. The post outlines and is critical of the media for judging Obama before he is even in office yet.

The last time I checked George W. Bush is still President of the United States. Inauguration Day is January 20th, 2009. Why is it people are already assuming and predicting how Barack Obama will lead? He hasn't even moved into the White House yet. I can't even watch the news anymore because all I hear about is the crazy analysis of the choices of Obama's cabinet and what kind of President Obama will be. Last time I checked cabinet members report and are the employees of the President's will. They are not the President. It does not matter how awesome of a political pundit you think you are, you cannot predict Obama's Presidency based off his cabinet picks.

Fed Cuts Rate to lowest in History

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Federal Reserve has cut its target for a key interest rate to the lowest level on record and pledged to use "all available tools" to combat a severe financial crisis and prolonged recession.
The central bank on Tuesday said it had reduced the federal funds rate, the interest that banks charge each other, to a range of zero to 0.25 percent. That is down from the 1 percent target rate in effect since the last meeting in October. Many analysts had expected the Fed to make a smaller cut to 0.5 percent. Read Full Story Here
Maybe they need to force banks at gun point to start lending and unfreeze the markets if this doesn't work. What else do they need to do? Bailouts, rate cuts and everything in between maybe the lowest rate cut in history will get them off their asses and make them lend! But like the bailout they will find a way to stall lets hope not. We give them Billions with a capital B and they sit on it and refuse to lend.

Global Warming is not caused by Man!!!

I can’t for the life of me see how liberals are so sure that we are the cause of the climate change. The facts support some sort of change is happening but I don’t think they conclusively say people are the reason. In fact I think it would tell you that nature is to blame. The change we are talking about is 0.6 degrees warmer that’s right 0.6 degrees I would hardly say that this kind of change doesn’t or hasn’t occurred in nature for thousands of years. Take a look for yourself.

Busy Week!!!

We have seen the worst of the Illinois political seen with the Governor there.



And it may go a little deeper than that and touch Jesse Jackson Jr. among others. Is Obama connected? Maybe.



Lets be clear Obama isn't accused of anything. But the fact that Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, a fellow Democrat, has been charged with trying to sell Obama's now-vacant Senate post gives political opponents an opening to criticize him. A slew of questions remain. The investigation is still under way. And the ultimate impact on Obama is far from certain.

And with the news that Jesse Jackson Jr. may have offered to pay to play is a little disheartening for the state that has given the country the next President. And also the fact the investigators are calling Illinois one of the most corrupt political scenes in the country. Not good for the Democrats!!!

Terrorism

Well with the attacks in India last week are letting us know terrorism is still out there and people still want Americans dead. I think it shows how well we have protected ourselves here in the US since 9/11 but we are still vulnerable and we will be more so in other countries. The reports of the terrorists looking for westerners to kill is pretty upsetting and goes to show in many ways that we need to work and help train other countries on anti-terrorism tactics so we can enjoy other countries without having to worry that we will be killed.





We can't forget that the bold attacks of 9/11 have changed minds of people who may hve thought that they couldn't pull off such attacks. I think not only embassys but everywhere that westerners travel and are known to stay will be attacked.
