Though some analysts see the protests on the streets of Iran as a potential tipping point that could eventually lead to the toppling of the regime, the U.S. president made clear that he's still interested in reviving diplomatic ties with the hard-line Islamic government.

Yeah no shit on the wait and see attitude. That is all this administration has done refuse to speak out or pick a side on anything. News flash you're the FUCKING President of the US, right or wrong the leader of the free world looked up to by other countries. This isn't a community function where you don't want to offend anybody because you're bringing people together. Let's just wait and see on this and on North Korea who by the way is testing nuclear weapons oh and threatening to attack the US if their ships are inspected, ships that may be carrying illegal arms and God only knows what else.
