Having read the bills (amended many times) many times; here is where the taxes are.

1) If you can pay for health insurance and not want it, you pay additional 2.5% income tax. This I think is fair, tough I think that the figure should be higher.

2) For the sake of fiscal neutrality, there can be a 1% surtax on people who make more than 250 k a year (Dems), or 5% tax on "Cadillac" plans. Which one, yet to be decided. This I am not so sure about...

Yeah but if you are going to tax say that is what you are doing. Don't lie and say there are not taxes when there clearly are.
